April Minutes were not available.
The Board reviewed the monthly budget with Jim Curley. A contract was signed with Nashville Pest Control. The sink hole behind unit 132 was filled in, it is hoped that this will take care of the sink hole. We will have to continue to watch this problem.
We still have 10 individuals on the delinquent list, totaling $10,790.28. Of these delinquencies two are in foreclosure; three have been turned over to our attorney; and five have been sent letters. The same individuals frequently are on this list. Jim Curley advised that in the foreclosure cases, the attorney wants to be paid up-front. We will be reimbursed for these fees once the foreclosure has been settled.
Parking continues to be a problem. Tickets have been given out and cars have been towed. It has been discovered that residents outside of The Greens have been using our parking spaces at the top of the hill. The Master Association of Nashboro Village Home-owners Association has been made aware of this problem and they will make sure the appropriate Homeowners Association is made aware that their resident are not to park in our visitor spaces. A number of their vehicles have been towed.
There are still a few homeowners who are leaving their garbage cans out front during the week. This is in violation of the CCRs and appropriate action will be taken against these offenders.
Fran Oroson is working on plans for the picnic. It is hoped that we have a better turn out this year. If not, having an annual picnic may be changed to every other year. Last year we had some door prizes. Fran will see if she can get some from neighborhood vendors again this year.
Gary Petersen and Jim Curley are checking into the cost of new gutters with guards for the condo’s facing the golf course. If this is an affordable venture, then after the condos on the golf course side are completed, then the following year the other condos will be completed.
The Cantrell’s request permission to re-do their flower beds. After reviewing their drawings, the Board approved their request. All expenses incurred will be at the expense of the Cantrell’s.
A number of e-mails were received during the month. These were discussed, and the individuals who wrote the e-mails received replies.
The next Board Meeting will be the third Thursday of July at Razz’, 6:30 pm.
